Scott Walker, Director of Player Development – Vancouver Canucks

 

Scott Walker is currently Director of Player Development for the Vancouver Canucks. During his 17 seasons as a NHL player, Scott played in 829 regular season games and scored 397 points. He also competed in three Ice Hockey World Championships (1999, 2001, and 2005) as a member of Team Canada. He retired from playing following the 2009–10 NHL season. He then spent parts of five seasons (2010-2015) as head coach of the OHL’s Guelph Storm before being named to the player development role with the Vancouver Canucks in 2015. Scott has also served in a variety of coaching roles within Hockey Canada, including serving as assistant coach of the Canadian national Junior Team (2012, 2015), head coach of Team Canada White at the 2015 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge and was an assistant coach of Canada’s National Sledge Team at the 2017 International Para Hockey Tournament.
