About Peter Aubry

Peter Aubry, Development Goaltending Coach – Chicago Blackhawks

Peter Aubry is the Chicago Blackhawks' developmental goaltending coach and serves as the primary goaltending coach for the Blackhawks' AHL affiliate Rockford IceHogs. Aubry also works with goaltending prospects with the Blackhawks' ECHL affiliate, the Indy Fuel, as well as their prospects playing in junior and European leagues.

Peter just completed his fourth season as the Developmental Goaltending Coach for the Chicago Blackhawks.  His highlights with the Blackhawks include Jeff Glass making his NHL debut at 32 years of age en route to earning the Blackhawks’ nomination for the NHL’s Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy; and Collin Delia making his NHL debut in 2018, receiving the Rockford IceHogs (AHL) 2017-18 Most Improved Player Award, and being selected to the 2018-19 AHL All-Star Game.

 

 

Prior to working with the Blackhawks, Aubry spent four years in NCAA Division I hockey as an Assistant Coach with Lake Superior State University and Mercyhurst University.  Before embarking on his coaching career, Aubry played in the ECHL, American Hockey League and various European leagues.

 

Aubry, a native of Windsor, Ontario, graduated from Mercyhurst in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting.  He continued his education with Mercyhurst’s Organizational Leadership program, where he earned a Master’s degree in 2018.
