About Kim McCullough

​

Kim McCullough is entering her 6th season as head coach of Toronto-Leaside Junior Wildcats (PWHL) and was named PWHL ‘Coach of the Year’ for the 2015-16 season. She has been coaching in the Toronto-Leaside organization since 2009 and is also currently coaching the Toronto-Leaside Midget AA team. McCullough served as an assistant coach with the Ryerson Women’s Hockey team from 2013-17.  She was head coach of Team Ontario Blue in 2013 where she led the team to a silver medal at the U-18 National Championship. In 2012, Kim was assistant coach of Team Ontario Red which won the bronze medal in the U-18 National Championship. McCullough is a certified High Performance 2 coach with Hockey Canada and has been an instructor with the High Performance 1 coaching program for 5 years.

 

McCullough is the Director & Founder of Total Female Hockey – an organization that has been helping aspiring female hockey players take their game to the next level since 2008. Over the past 15 years, Kim has mentored over 5,000 players, 1,000 coaches and 150 teams from novice to National teams. She is passionate about every aspect of player development and loves teaching on-ice skills, strength and conditioning off-ice and helping players with their mental game.

 

Prior to her coaching career, McCullough played all her minor hockey for the Toronto-Leaside organization. She went on to become captain and leading scorer at Dartmouth College (NCAA Division 1) from 1998-2002. She was an All-American, 2- time Ivy League and ECAC Champion and made two National Championship appearances.
