About Dan Muse
Dan Muse, Assistant Coach – Nashville Predators
After playing college hockey at Stonewall College in Easton MA, Dan served as an assistant coach in the US college ranks including five years at Yale including their National Championship in 2012-13. In 2015 Dan then moved to the head coach position of the USHL's Chicago Steel where in his second year the Steel won the USHL Championship. That caught the attention of the Nashville Predators, and in 2017 he was hired as an assistant coach with the Predators. As the article below says, that was a rapid, impressive and well deserved leap from the USHL to the NHL.
Dan's coaching philosophy is:
“...if you go to work every day with passion for what you’re doing and you treat people the right way and you work hard to help them get better, then players will respond and you’ll be able to form strong relationships, which in turn leads usually to strong results...”
